Warm-ups & Stretching ~10 min Basics ~10 min Current Form ~20 min Bunkai ~20 min Warm-up and stretching is not meant be physically challenging, but to prepare the body for training. Basics are normally done 10 each at moderate speed, focusing on technique. The current form is a Goju Ryu form that is practiced for 3 months. Everyone works on the same form regardless of training level. This method was adopted so the senior students will have an opportunity to study new material. Bunkai (Applications) At least 5 applications per form are practiced. Forms are not effective without working the moves with another person. |

Pricing: Class prices are set by Fairfax County Partakes. Sessions are run for 3 months. The Sunday class and the Thursday class are separate classes. There is 10 classes per session, with 2 makeup days built in. The makeup days are for class cancellations, not for days that an individual misses (unfortunately). Fairfax County Residents, early registration ~$75 for 3 months Fairfax County Residents, regular registration ~$85 for 3 months Out of County Residents, ~95 for 3 months Class drop-in rates are $12.50 per drop-in. |

Sign ups: Signups run for about a month prior to the start of a session. For those of you familiar with the parktakes system. Follow the link to Parktakes And enter "goju" in the search criteria.
